Department of Economics and Organization of Enterprises
The Department of Economics and and Organization of Enterprises continues the tradition of economics and business management initiated in the interwar period at the then Higher School of Commerce by Professor Stanisław Bieńkowski, an outstanding creator of Polish organisational thought and its promoter in economic practice.
In the post-war period, his creative work in the field of economics and business management was continued by the Department of Industrial Economics, the Department of Industrial Enterprise Economics, the Department of Economics and Organisation of Industrial Enterprises of the Institute of Industrial Economics, the Independent Department of Economics and Organisation of Enterprises, and today’s Department of Economics and Organization of Enterprises.

1937 – establishment of the Department of Organisation and Management of Industrial Enterprises.

Currently, the Department employs 19 research and teaching staff, including:
